Hike to the Hollywood Sign

A non London post from my holiday!

Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to see the Hollywood sign. It was a symbol of movies, Marilyn Monroe, fame, excitement. Visiting Los Angeles for the first time about 5 years ago, I sought it out but couldn't find it, until my last day, the taxi taking me to the airport drove to the other end of the road my hotel was in, and there it was! 

Back in LA again, Kyle and I hiked up through Griffith Park and got some great views of LA and the Griffith observatory:

However, not satisfied, we drove even closer and got this selfie, taken near Madonna's old house:
